Hey All,
Earlier this week after the Saturn Awards, Heroes Stars Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) and Cristine Rose (Angela) discussed what we should expect for Season 4.

Pasdar confirmed that Nathan will be redeemed this season and Rose said that there is a shocking change plan for Angela in Episode 4×03 (Acceptance). Additionally Rose once again confirmed that each episode will focus on fewer characters, so expect to see less of all the characters.

I personally am split whenever they talk about seeing less of each character, because on one side I think it is good for the overall storyline of the show and it will be easier for the writers to focus on making some of the stories better and on the other side I am a little disappointed that we will see less of some fan favorites.

Pasdar said that he’s not going to play Sylar so much as play somebody trying to imitate Nathan. (Pasdar took home a Saturn Award for best supporting actor on a television series.)

“That’s the irony,” Pasdar said. “I don’t feel like I’m playing Sylar. I feel like I’m playing a guy who’s playing Nathan. You see what I’m saying? I’m not trying to act like Sylar. Sylar’s trying to act like Nathan. A little tic … here, a little compulsive, obsessive behavior somewhere else.”

Riiighht.

In a separate interview at the awards ceremony, Rose suggested that it might only get harder to follow who is playing whom on Heroes: The upcoming “volume five” has Sylar and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) morphing into a variety of of co-stars and day players. “I just read episode 403 yesterday,” Rose said. “What happens then, my mind has been so baffled, but it’s a lot of fun. Yet another huge change comes for me in episode 403.”

Nathan Petrelli began as a corrupt politician who was willing to let New York explode. He ultimately sacrificed himself to stop his brother, Peter, from blowing up, but later worked with the government to capture people with abilities. Pasdar suggested that his journey in the next season will finally redeem Nathan.

“I think there’s going to be a good redemptive nature to his behavior this year,” Pasdar said. “Somehow we’re going to try to get out from underneath the dark cloud that surrounded the first couple years of his perception of what his power might be, his ability. It’s nice to think it might end a little lighter. It might end with a martyrdom kind of behavior thing in order to sacrifice [himself] to serve the world.”

As for that crazy episode 403 Rose mentioned, it includes the usual Petrelli parental issues. Nathan will be managing his shape-shifting, and their interaction will revolve more around Rose’s Angela. “It’s classic Mama Petrelli,” Pasdar said. “It’s more on her consistent behavior than it is on mine. I have a little bit of a shift going through my character, so she’s more solid. It more resonates around her gravity pull than mine.”

Rose added that the new season will spend comparatively less time with all characters. “All the stories are much smaller than they were, so each episode will be fewer people,” Rose said. “So it’ll be smaller stories for everyone, but I’m happy that they write my name in the script.”

Hey All,
NBC has released their official 2009 Fall TV Premiere Dates and Times and Heroes Season 4 (Volume 5 Redemption) as expected is scheduled for Sept. 21st at 8PM, but it will be a Two-Hour Premiere!!

So we will see the first two episodes, Orientation and Jump Push Fall.

We were just informed that based on an updated casting call that the title for Heroes Episode 4×03 is “Acceptance”.

I wonder if this means the Heroes will be looking for acceptance or one specific character??

Hey All,
Today we received a tip from someone who happened to be on set during the recent filming that took place at UCLA, which is the location of Claire’s college.

The source claimed that someone would die in the first episode and when I asked them to clarify a bit more, all they could provide to us was to say that this is what was scheduled to be filmed:

“Claire discovers a body on the sidewalk.”

Episode 4×02 was scheduled to start this week, so I am not sure if this scene will take place at the end of the premiere or in the second episode.

Of course who this dead body could be is the mystery and they would not reveal who it was, but I believe there were some previous spoilers about Claire’s roommate possibly dying and that there will be some mysterious deaths in Season 4.

This is a new source so hopefully they are right and we will be able to get more information from them.

So what do you all think!? Could this “body” be Gretchen or some random person that Claire finds!?

For those of you that do not know, over at NBC.com you will find several interactive items for the fans including Online Graphic Novels that usually overlap some of the current stories in the show.

The new graphic novel will feature the fan favorite Molly Walker who practically disappeared.

Here is a video from artist Dennis Calero talking about how he got started and then about Molly’s appearance in Rebellion Part 6: Lost and Found.

Hey All,
Heroes star Greg Grunberg who plays Matt Parkman confirmed via his Twitter acct that he will be filming scenes with Zachary Quinto (Sylar) today.

In fact he actually says that he is “getting ready to go in and beat up on Sylar”.

Last we heard Episode 4×02 was being filmed, but there is no confirmation of when this scene will take place. However, based on the set pics of ZQ and Milo last week and this Tweet it seems like all of you Quinto fans will get a decent dose of him early in the season.

I am sure some of you are not happy to see more of Sylar, but if Matt is beating him up, then maybe you will feel better.

If anyone happens to get any pictures of the filming, feel free to send them in.

Hey All,
Ausiello from EW just posted a Tweet saying that Heroes is casting for a 11-year oldish boy top play Young Nathan.

We should hopefully have the full casting call later that will provide us with some more details.

**UPDATED** Just to clarify, about me posting that Fuller is “remaining as producer”, was based on the following line direct from the AICN post:

Fuller is under contract with “Heroes” producer NBC Universal for another year and a half

So feel free to interpret all of the information any way you would like. If he is still with NBC working on other shows and is still under contract as “Heroes Producer” for a year and half, then it seems likely he still might consult. Of course it is too early to know until there is any additional information.

**UPDATED** 2:35PM AICN has the OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION direct from Fuller. Here is the statement:

“Development was really starting to heat up, And it appears like I may be writing multiple pilots for NBC so that wasn’t leaving a ton of room for ‘Heroes,’ unfortunately,” the star writer-producer tells AICN exclusively. “We crafted some really great arcs for the season that I’m excited to see come to fruition. I love that cast dearly and am sad to go, but the plate — she was over-flowing.”

Well now Ausiello from EW has posted an updated based on his NBC contact and once again not good news. Seems like he will still be working with NBC, but “focus on developing new projects.”

Seems like Kristin from E! Online is reporting this sad new is true. Like I said before there is no official confirmation and to be honest the last time I tried contact NBC about someone leaving they said they do not discuss internal personnel issues. The announcements usually are made by the folks themselves.

Also, before you all start grilling NBC, it seems like Fuller has left not that NBC fired him. Of course it is possible he did not like the way things were forming for Season 4 and bumped heads with the other writers or NBC. This is all speculation, so we can not say either way.

What does this all mean!? I would say two immediate impacts will be felt. Several fans were holding out hope that Fuller could help the show make a change for the best and partly due to some of the story arcs that he had planned including something big for Tracy.

Personally some of the things they had planned can still work out and I am willing to give the other writers a chance.

BREAKING NEWS: Bryan Fuller Quits Heroes!?

Oh boy, here is some thing that I know almost each and everyone of you will hate to see and read. There is NO official word and I hate to jump the gun, but Herc from AintitCool just post on his Twitter that Bryan Fuller has just quit writing for the show.

As soon as we hear ANYTHING more we will update you all and I hope this is just one of those bad tips or hoaxes.

Hey All,
As expected the Season 4 (Volume 5 Redemption) Premiere date has been confirmed for Sept. 21st at 8PM.

How this information was confirmed or “leaked” is actually quite interesting. According to our friends at NextOnHeroes, the image advertising the Season 3 DVDs over at the NBC online store actually has an overlay image with the premiere date?

So there is no official announcement or press release yet, so if it changes we will keep you all informed.

The only real other possibility would be the 28th, but in order to have no repeats and complete the Volume before the Winter Olympics we should expect Heroes back on Sept. 21st!!

Hay All,
Here is a new interview with Heroes Star Greg Grunberg with our good friend Rob at Lotsof Interviews where Grunberg reveals some Season 4 Spoilers.

Below are the spoilery bits, but he does talk about Season 3, working with Brea Grant and about all the wonderful projects he is working on.

Personally I have always been a fan of Greg Grunberg, I think he is the man and I like his portrayal of Matt. Yes, sometimes his storyline is not the greatest, but you can always see that he throws himself into the character fully and that he loves what he is doing!!

In the next series are we going to see Matt trying to start a family again?

Absolutely. The next series of Heroes is all about really Parkman trying to deal with what he’s done and the consequences that play into that now that he’s switched out the brains between Nathan and Sylar and was my character effected by that at all? I mean when do something like that you can imagine there’s probably residue left and is that going to effect me? Is Parkman going to have a little bit of Sylar in him? And I hope they play that up. The first script just came out and it’s fantastic so I can’t wait and see what they have planned for me.

Do you think your character is going to be one of the ones seeking redemption in the next series as it is titled “redemption”?

I think so. I think there’s defiantly redemption there and I think there’s regret, there’s defiantly going to be a lot of regret and even the very last shot of me in the last series is when you see Parkman standing over Sylar’s body and he defiantly regrets what he’s just done. And so if things go wrong they’re going to turn to Parkman to try and fix what he’s done even though he begrudgingly did it.
